Received a call today from a good Samaritan in NYC who found an HP laptop with a STOP Security Plate ID#, as well as other personal belongings in a bag. Contacted the large accounting firm that owns the laptop and provided them with details of incident. Administrator from company confirmed they are recovering the device.
